Water or flood damage is normally bad news. The cars can look great once they've dried out but remember the water has been everywhere, into every electrical nook and cranny causing all sorts of corrosion and future mayhem. It's why flood damaged cars are so easily written off even though they can often look mostly undamaged.

The gearbox, engine, loom, turbos and other parts from this car have been for sale on ebay for months, so there probably won't be much left.

I tried to buy some parts off that car a little while ago when I had my v8. He’s not in any way responsive t9 selling anything.

I’m sure the listings are just so he can say to his missus he is trying to sell them

It must of been old cat 'C' d from a while back ... they tend to cat 'B' all flood damage cars now for safety reasons..  Cat 'B' must be broke.. The reason is most modern cars have brakes and throttles electronically controlled .. water damage to electronic contacts and circuits can have a delayed reaction which can cause catastrophic failure resulting in accidents..  For these reasons and the fact that the cars if sold for repair will have hidden faults that can be passed on to unsuspected buyers, they will now be Cat 'B'   So buyers beware. !!!!!!
