Hi,

What other mods do people recommend?

I've now got:-

- 2bular

-soft top conversion with soft top

- focal speakers due to be fitted

I was thinking of things like.

- better headlight bulbs if so what?

- number plate bulbs?

- induction kit?

What have you done?

Dave

Would you say the forged wheels were a good bang for buck investment? Did they make the steering much lighter?

I've never done a back to back with the same tyres, but you can certainly feel the difference in the steering.  When you pick up the wheels when changing them it's unbelievable how heavy the standard wheels are!

Plus IMO they look much much better.

HID headlights (being changed to LED soon as the HID are shit)

Interesting. Have you found a drop in LED projector replacement or are you intending to use LED "bulbs" in the OEM projector? If the former, I'm very interested, having drawn something of a blank when I looked. If the latter, what makes you think the beam pattern won't be worse than HID? I'm well up for a decent LED solution, having swapped the stock Caterham tea lights for JWSpeaker sealed units (perfect).

I'm going to try LED bulbs.

If it doesn't work then there will be a big project at some stage (probably next winter) to put proper projectors into the car to make the headlights actually work.

Agreed, I think they look really good. Ok well I’ll have to get a set of these. Would you recommend getting a garage to put them on and get them balanced etc?

Also do you think I’d be able to sell the old wheels?
