2016 Exige 350 Sport Battery Model

Recommended Posts

Morning everyone,

Having a bit of an issue at the moment. Left the car over winter while I was working away and the battery has died, attempted a charge and the charger indicates that the battery is done and I need a new one. Could anyone please provide me the stock battery make and model so I can purchase one? I am currently away and would like it waiting when I return.

Thank You :D

It's most likely a Varta E43

I have a 2016 Exige Sport 350 with a battery that looks to have been fitted from the factory. It is one of these - 075SP model

Thats a new one haven't seen that one before... they're usually the Varta ones so they must have changed supplier....

That doesn’t come as a surprise - Lotus seem to change suppliers by the half hour! Maybe it’s a way of spreading out their debts......which is hopefully a thing of the past

The current back orders at Lotus are 10% of what they have been recently and most of those are made to order parts rather than stock parts.

That’s really good to hear! Good for customers, suppliers, and Lotus!

Well I have had zero luck sourcing a replacement, after being directed to a supplier by the dealer and being sold the wrong rated battery I went back to the dealer and they have now ordered me the right battery :)
