IWM Duxford Spring Car Show - Sunday 6th May 2018

It's that time of year again and I'd like to extend an invitation to all Lotus Owners to attend the Spring Car Show at IWM Duxford. The popularity of this show has grown year on year and last year we had 50+ Cars on show.

If you can only make a morning or afternoon or even an hour or two Duxford are usually very flexible with entry and exit times unlike many other shows, last year the entry gate was open from 9.30am-2.00pm and you can leave whenever you wish.

A big bonus here is that when you've looked round all the car displays you can then view all the aircraft on show and yes they do have a Concorde as well. Often the workshops are open so you can see restorations in progress.  There's a large café in the American Air Museum and if you'd like to see things from the air you can book a pleasure fight with Classic Wings on the day. There's usually a few trade stands selling car valeting products at good prices  as well.

The show is being organised differently this year to avoid the queuing problems that have occurred previously as the show has become more and more popular. This year I will request 50 places in our normal pitch, we may be able to squeeze a few more in if required. Once I've submitted the pitch application form they will issue me with a promo code which I will post hear ASAP.  Once we have the promo code you must go to the IWM What's on page here:

https://www.iwm.org.uk/whats-on?filters[where][IWM Duxford]=on

Select Car Shows and purchase your ticket for the Spring Car Show. Once you've done this PM me and I'll confirm your place on the attendance list below (Please note: Tickets aren't available yet, but please list your name and car below if you intend to come along).

Further details are in the PDF below:

Ticket_Info.pdf

Last years thread is here:

If you'd like to come along please add you name / car to the list below:

I'll definitely be there.  What could possibly go wrong?

British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland.  And Shitfaced Silly Sod to Sweden.
