Hi Guys, Another newbie here

Steve M

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to say hello and ask if any of you guys have any recommendations for persons who might service my baby in the London area. Just need an "A" and an MOT but could also do with the a/c being recharged. Any pointers greaty appreciated.

Hi Steve and welcome to the fold.....

It all depends on where you live in London - It's a big old sprawl!

The ones I have heard best things about are:

North - Lyte & Wakefield (Enfield)

South East - Maidstone Sports Cars or Bell & Colville  (SORRY! <washes mouth out!>)

West - Steve Williams

There is Barry Ealy in the East (Leyton) but Reports don't inspire my faith enough to recommend them. There is also Lakeside Engineering in the South West but I'm personally not keen on them either.

Sinclaires are also slightly further East in Romford - they seem to be quite well reputed but not cheap.

Moving further afield there is Esprit Engineering in Downton just outside Salisbury and he is the cheapest hourly rate in the country! (Geoff there, has my car atm) iirc an A service on an S3 era Trubo is

"When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked him to forgive me."

The PO of my TurboEsprit was very pleased with Morland-Jones' services...otherwise I could recommend a superb garage in Germany

He was still in Bromsgrove last time I was in the U.K.

Cant imagine he has moved as he has been in the

same spot for about 200yrs. :)
