Extending Egr Pipe Around Bov

I am having a small issue finding fittings/harware to extend my EGR pipe around my BOV's. The stock steel pipe must be metric, as US pipe fittings will not work. It is slightly larger than 5/8 inch (16 or 17mm?). The EGR needs to be about 6-8 inches longer.

For those that have extended the EGR pipe, what did you use and where did you obtain the parts?
