Which one do you use the most Barry and which was the last one that let you down?

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

Defo use the Evora more @C8RKH. It might be best not to ask which was the last one that let me down though - the bloody Evora has a flat battery - will unlock on the fob - but do you think I can get the boot to release to jump start or charge the bastard.....

Started the esprit today - just to move it forward in the garage - started first flick of the key

you can't blame the car for the numptiness of the owner. Put wife in the drivers seat, turn on, engage 2nd, and you push her to 10mph down the hill and clutch out. Put a white coat on and a frizzly white wig and you could be acting out a scene from Back to the future!  Who knows where that role play may lead..... ;)

You can recharge the battery from inside the car from the Rear Fusebox. Pull either MR1 or MR2, the 30A Main Fuses and connect the charger to the incomer from the battery by inserting a blade same size as the fuse blade to get charger on. (Presume you've tried the cable release for the boot?)

Cheers @phil flash - I’ll sort this tomorrow - I’ve not even tried to pull the release under the seat. I was more annoyed the boot wouldn’t release at the time - and simply used another car 👍

It's one of those things no-one ever checks works, then, when they need it to, bitch like hell when it doesn't.

First thing I did when I got mine was check it worked - it didn't but a bit of grease on the Bowden cable sorted it.

Have checked it a few times since but not for a while so this topic is a good prompt... though hopefully I won't need it.

I have to run a power cable across the drive to charge my Evora so don't leave it on a battery conditioner but have a Bluetooth Monitor that talks to an app on my phone and tablet so I can see when battery needs a boost when sitting in the lounge . Mine is a CTEK but cheaper versions are available on Amazon ..

my job normally takes me around the country and I spent a couple of days in my home office however last 12 months lockdown means I have been working from home 5 days a week.

so my office looks out on to the drive where my Evora is parked , I have watched people on their daily lockdown walks go past the car .

I glimpse the look of people & wonder what goes through their minds ? Some look intensely at the badge , some look at side profile , some the head on stare. A few taken pictures , some look with some scorn and maybe jealousy ?
Overall I think there’s a more positive smiling glances !

I hade the funniest most enthusiastic reaction to my Evora’s driving home thought the south western part of Sydney and an Asian looking girl in a hotted up Holden V8 raced up behind me into the right lane and was waving frantically with double thumbs up all at 110ks. She then blasted past waving frantically.

Went to Wickes yesterday to pick up a bag of concrete (only a small 10kg bag) , a number of people there had a look at it as a drove round the car park. No chance of getting 8x4 sheets of anything in the car.

Also bought some petrol and a guy walking past the car said how good it looked, I think he could tell it was a lotus as he could read the  badge on the front.
