Spinney
Had to stop at South Mimms on the M25 last week while busting for a pee. As I hurried towards the services building a guy came towards me with a big smile on his face and asked “oh wow is that the new Emira?” Kind of a back handed compliment I guess but thought I’ll take that! Better than being asked if it’s a Ferrari or Lambo etc 😁 I quickly apologised I couldn’t hang around to discuss it and continued on my way to the much needed indoor facilities. 1

Popular Post Phaeton91
Well, I may be pushing it a bit here but I left the house this evening to walk down the road and pick up a curry and there was a bird sitting on the front wing of my car. I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn’t react but when I got back the bird was still there. I moved up closer and nothing, no reaction at all. Strange, bearing in mind that it was very damp and pretty cold. So anyway, the bird is now wrapped up in front of a radiator in my study with some sugared water and some bread. We’ll see what happens by the morning! My question to myself - did I take an interest because it was a poorly bird or was it because I didn’t want it sitting on my car all night. 6
Rambo
I've had lots if birds interested in my Evora. But not the avian type. PS that bird's a robin.

Haha. Let’s not mention that fact that I put my gardening gloves on before grabbing it and putting it into a box. My only saving grace is that my wife and kids witnessed it! 1

Popular Post Rambo
Just had a guy come up to me in the local micropub who said "Do Evora's all sound like that, or is it just yours?" (2Bular, 3rd cat delete) I said "no, just mine. Was it too loud in sports mode?" He said " no way. It sounded faaaantaaaastic" I must admit, with this recent cold spell (down to -2°C in the Scottish Borders tonight) it sounds even better than normal 👍
jerzybondov
Which 2bular have you got Rambo? Valved or non-valved? And is that on an NA?
Rambo
It's non valved and on an NA (launch edition) jerzybondov. It really does make a great sound particularly 2nd/3rd gears and on overrun.

I love the burbles on overrun
madmax
I second that, and particularly on the overrun even at low speeds - that particular set up sounds ace at even 1200 - 1400 rpm as I pootle down my narrow drive in third, throttle off. It doesn't pop and bang but sounds really special as it has an off-beat burble - and when you open it up it fair howls - has a glorious sound to it - and has been said, not too intrusive at steady throttle at motorway speeds - superb!
