I believe today is the birthday of Hazel Chapman, cornerstone of the Lotus marque. 91 no less!

I reckon the story of Lotus would have been much different without her, as the adage goes "behind every great man" etc.

Can we wish her many happy returns from this forum?

@Loose Cannon We owned Kennedy House, bought of Colin in 1977 and it came with about 9 acres of paddock land, an orchard, a wood and a grass tennis court.

Did you live on one of the farm buldings? I think son Clive is in the big one now.

An absolutely incredible place for gardens and grounds.
