Ebay Lotus X180

I've looked and enquired, but can't see anything that suggests this is a turbo version other than the reference to acceleration.

Bidding circa £17K - have I missed something obvious?

It looks very genuine and a nice example - I wonder who did the £3,500 of recommissioning?

Odd there's no shots of the engine bay.  Ticks all the boxes for a Turbo.  Has the glass on the back, the turbo rear valance, spot lights on the front with vulcan grey intake between and the steering wheel is 3 spoke, rather than 2.  And it has the ribbed rear number plate surround (rather than flat) and the exhaust is on the left, rather than the right side.

The only odd thing is the interior temp dials just says Esprit, rather than Turbo Esprit, maybe the factory ran out of parts.  Strange he didn't mention it had a Turbo, as he's mentioning everything else.

Lotus never put a spoiler on the Turbo.  Spoilers on Stevens car start life with the SE.
