The reg number on this car is oh-so familiar, if not the paint job. Original indeed. Pretty sure it must have started out all white. Looks like something you would see in Japan, not totally convinced.

Link is iffy - am being taken to "VigLink Shopping" ?

Untaxed - due Jan 2002, yet MOT Expires Apr 2019. so not been driven at all. That's the only downer for me.

I think it's nice to see something different colour wise, it was red originally, and that is a lovely interior

VigLink is an affiliates scheme used on TLF, there should be a link on the page to take you on to the ad.

So there is - never had the link before.

Sovereign Car Sales is where my Excel came from. Sat there for a couple of years before I bought it, and the price came down somewhat from their initial ask.

They had no idea about Lotus cars 3 years ago - said the cam belt change 3000 miles earlier was fine (apart from it was 15 years earlier as well)., and had never heard of a belt being changed after a number of years.

Ah, so it was white added to red rather than vice versa....I might know the car after all and probably have pics at home.

Here we go, this was one of the first Esprits I lusted over in the early days of the internet circa 2000. The then owner had a little personal website with pics of his favourite things like his Esprit, Tangerine Dream and Kim Cattrall! At the time he picked it up for about 3 grand, how times change. It looked better back then...
