Le Mans Esprit On Tv

Just watched a program on Motors TV called "road to Le Mans", and showed highlights of the 93 Le Mans, I guess this is because 93 was the year Peugeot won last and they have entered a diesel car this year (diesel racing cars, is it just me or is that just wrong on every level?). The highlight for me though was footage of an Esprit racing. Not sure which spec but I think it was an X180, please correct me if I'm wrong. The program may be repeated later tonight.

BTW the car is the Sport 300 racer, if it was '93 they would have been white cars - any footage of it I would be extremely grateful for as I am building the replica to this car atm.

from what basis will you be building the replica Jonathan ? Your GT2 or GT3 ? Or from an SE ?

It's originally an SE turbo - now renamed GT2 (more applicable / easier to describe), it's off to the doctors next week for a check up and service.

Hopefully with all the hard work over the winter it wont be too long - click the link in my sig shows a lot more.

I've been to Nurburgring recentlry, 1st time ever I saw a Sport 300 in real life, and I have to admit : impressive !

Ordered from SJ Sportcars ? They have a complete S300 bodykit for 790

Yup - SJ are getting more money from me !

I assume it's a 1 piece part, if not I'll glue it together

Needs to be modded for the 4x 'get the heck out of my way' lights anyways
