Retro fitting carpets

Recommended Posts

Hi, is it easy to have sound proofing and full carpets retro fitted to a 2013 model? Ideally prefer to pay someone to fit the too. Would be nice just to reduce some of the road Noise.

Carpets should be simple enough and it looks like you can add the latest NVH to earlier models too...

Thanks, had a look but couldn’t easily find did start ploughing through 42 pages of stuff, but gave up! From the mods he’s done I wasn’t sure carpets would be on the list.

I thought the Lotus prices were a rip off so went with this:

Make sure you request the high sides.  What I would say is they’re a bit of a pain to fit and did require a little cutting. The benefit is that it covers over all the silver bits of the chassis.

An alternative is a friend called Dale who made my floor mats. He just bought a 380 and had a 350 before and I believe is able to make carpet sets. Could be worth popping him a message on Instagram to see if he can help. They’d be exactly the same as OEM unless you request otherwise.
