Rear left radius arm pivolt bolt - Suspension/Brakes/Wheels/Hubs/Steering/Geo - The Lotus Forums #ForTheOwners Jump to content

Hi Everyone,

The rear left radius arm pivot bolt head is hidden behind a few heat-shields and next to the engine mounting. I would need to loosen it to make sure it has been tightened at ride height.
Can the heat shields parts be removed with the engine in the car? That looks doable but a confirmation would be nice before I lose my time! Would that be enough to reach the head of the bolt?
(incidentally that would be a good thing to adjust the rear toe angle if needed ...)

Thanks in advance!

Yes, they can be removed with the engine in.

Nice, thank you! The workshop manual is not very clear (at least to me) on that subject when it is referring to the late (v8) split toe adjustment plates. I am glad it's doable!
