I think even the wife might let me buy another one for that price. (remembering Car SOS Tim's ad for a turbo esprit sold for 50p. many years ago.)

The plan is to keep it for a year then get back in a Lotus with the Emira, time will tell?

You are forgiven. That’s stunning 😍

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!

Not a bad price for an S but the matt black does nothing for me. There was another for sale in the same colour on PH fairly recently in the same colour which seemed to hang around for a long time.

@mmhexeter has put a deposit on a matt black one I think. But not the 2013 one in the post before Rambo's

Assuming the price doesn’t reflect something untoward with the car (ie matt black respray/wrap post accident or something), that’s excellent value for a 2013 S.

Wouldn’t imagine it will be hanging around too long if it all checks out.

That's odd. The 2015 at 40k is astounding value especially with that mileage and from Stratton. 2013 S at 30k is unbelievable.

Yes I'm still looking but didn't fancy matt black. Both looked good..

Also the metallic black, 1 owner S SR, 15k miles car that was at Sytners with warranty etc dropped to £40k at the weekend but now disappeared so assume sold..

I'll keep searching for the right spec as not in a mad rush and will try to be patient.., ( not easy! )

I wonder if that’s snowbdr’s old car “Dexter”. I think the mileage fits (it was previously spotted for sale in 2021 at 52,000 miles). I think @C8RKH remembers it from back in the day.

You have to be sure of your spec requirements but I know the time waiting could be time enjoying the car as time stands still for no one ?

Correct, it's the Stratton one I've gone for, hence my desperate posts about best advice re maintaining a matte finish! Speaking of which, a 'matte specific' ceramic coat is the option I've been advised to pursue

I think there was 2 matt black cars, one supplied new from Bell & Colvill and the other was in Scotland.

this is a picture I took from September 2014 in the B&C showroom. Do you know if this is your car @mmhexeter

When you get the service book, it should say who did the PDI.

Yes, that sure looks like Jason's car. Before he sold it he really looked after it well. Great car and looks awesome in the flesh.

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

If it’s the B&C car the registration will start R or L, assuming it’s not a private one.

One of the matt back cars was shown at the Lotus factory when it was built on a Discovery ‘how it’s made’ programme

Exactly my thoughts  Cdm 🤔

Another day wasted, another day not enjoying a Lotus, and another day closer to the grave 🤔

Just go for it Edmundo
