The Evora has ceased production so the pool of available cars is going to get no bigger. Those who have driven the car know how brilliant and beautiful it is. It has effectively achieved classic / cult status. I can only see prices going up depending on condition. The type 131 won't be released until 2022, I can only see demand for existing cars increasing. If you are thinking of buying an Evora I would suggest getting on board while you can.

Will the price take a dip when the 131 is released? Maybe, but not by much as I think the status has already been achieved. There will probably be a ceiling to the price as people will then start to look at other exotic cars but this car will surely have put that cachet to the name Lotus.

If the 131 doesnt have a +2 version, then this would be the last ICE +2 lotus so makes it pretty rare and difficult to replace.

As you said not that much out there so  that should keep price up, on the other end depreciation still happens for the 4xx so not sure where it lands but I am struggling to see how a 400 would bottom below 40k and that is already not far so doesn’t seem much risk.

for the GT410, that should be a bit higher but it is not much more car than a 400 so I am not sure what the current stock will go for.

probably a case of if you get one as you want it, you should just buy it as it may not come back.

I missed twice on my ideal Esprit and now I have clearly missed the boat.

Has production stopped? I thought they were going to do a final edition for the Evora?

They decided not to it. It’s a pity, I would have been tempted to trade my SR for a GT420 with a special badge.

Ah man that sucks. I must have missed that, I just thought it was coming later.

Just to be clear, my question was about the GT 410, not the 410 sport, which has been out much longer.

Ruud,

The best way that you can find out the actual number is to buy the Certificate of Provenance for your car. You can either go direct to Lotus or, if you upgrade to Gold membership on here, @Bibscan help you out.

Wraps and wheels worry me.

MOT history doesn't look too bad though.

Seems cheap....

I think that is the one that was painted in Matt black not a wrap. It went to scotland early in it’s life. Used to be called Dexter as the reg ended DEX.

nice enough if you like Matt black. Can’t say I was ever a fan of it.

Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable.

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

If it’s that car - I’ve seen it at Brooklands - it looks mean as hell

That’s is where I saw it too, but I like shiny.
