I ve just taken my engine out. All I can say is " it was fun" I was glad I had my mate round to assist. Hope to get round to posting some photos soon.

From reading through the Restoration section, it seams to be the in thing this year.

Shane --

Tim Engle posted a 55-step guide to removing the engine from an S1/S2 in the S1S2S3owners yahoogroup. I suppose you could use that as a general guide. :welcome:

I took the engine out of my S1 last night. The body is off the chassis and all I can say is that I wouldn't want to do it with the body still on there!! I was doing it on my own which didn't help!
