‘I’ haven’t, but on my specialist’s try to remove the lower link stud it snapped :( the snap was two shades so think it may have had a hairline crack to start. Mike at Lotus bits is on the case, seems lefts sides aren’t a problem but right are rarer but he’s confident he can get one. Just hope it’s not to expensive

I think you may be hoping in vain, I suspect it will be a few hundreds of £s.

I don't think we've yet to the point where it's cheaper to have the machined from billet stock, but it's probably getting close to that time.Or, that's the case on the later cars with Renault boxes, i cannot think of a reason why the Citroen'box cars would be any more readily available /cheaper.

Try a call to nick warren - he’s bound to have one lying around - won’t be cheap and will be a nightmare to physically get.

@johnpwalsh any in your shed of magic

And that’s why garages hate esprits aka ramp blockers

Yep, got one. Offside rear. Taken off an S3 with collapsed bearing but hub is in perfect condition, Old bearing outer shell still in the hub.

Fair enough mate, no one seems to have them! I think I’ll have to get it welded.

Welding shouldn't be an issue.

Try Pete at PNM engineering.

Else ask Paul Coleman he knows someone in Northampton that can weld them.

Ive just spoken to Pete at PNM, none available but he welds them himself good as new on a jig and can't tell they've been welded he said which is what i'm looking for and much cheaper then trying to buy one and as theres a time constraint with the car being stuck on a lift and not in my garage so im going with that option so its going in the post fully insured today and should get it back this week with a new bearing and stud!

Great. Pete's a genius at all this stuff! Glad it's resolved.

I wouldn't personally recommend welding it as it's a structural item (holding the spring). It's up to you at the end of the day.

Alan Voigts Gearboxes are in the process of remanufacturing these albeit to suit up to V8 models. They are in their workshops in their cast form, just waiting to be machined on their CNC (waiting for their programmer guy to turn up!).

They do have two used early Stevens hubs but I suspect they need these to take measurements for their machining process but you could ask?
