Mysterious Oil Pressure Drop

I've experienced a 2-4psi pressure drop on my VDO mechanical oil pressure gauge when accellerating slightly. When I back off the throttle, it rises back to where it was. If I accellerate hard then the revs build quickly, along w/ the oil pressure as normal. Sump is full, oil is clean.

Any thoughts/ similar experience?

do you have proper crank case ventilation? If the pcv valve is having issues... that may cause this... i don't know... however... pcv is extremely important in boosted engines.. i've seen people replace turbos because they were blowing oil out the exhaust. Turned out... all that was wrong was a plugged pcv... builds up too much oil pressure and blows it out the seals.
