Who Needs Parts?

OK, I know I am new to this forum but not new to the Lotus demon that lives in me now. Anyway I am going to be doing some restoration work on my '88 Turbo and I am gutting it and selling parts, such as the entire engine and gearbox/trans and a couple other things.

Why might you ask, well, more on that later (just a hint, 540hp all wheel drive electric....)

So, before I posted on Ebaymotors I thought I would ask if anyone has any advice here or if anyone wanted something because I would rather sell to you all than anything else.

Some have asked regarding the engine and trans.

The enging which was rebuilt at 45K miles (currnetly car has 49K miles total) and currently runs good with 4K miles. Previous owner spent a huge amount of $$ from Lotus or Jacksonville (Dealership) so make me a reasonable offer, I am still researching the value.

Trans - smooth and nice. I don't think it had any work on it but seems excellent, make a reasonable offer.

I will ship items from Jacksonvillle Crate, they usually deliver my engines nice and neat.

If someone wants both I was thinking at this point somewhere around 6-8K? Sound reasonable? This was based on what a Mech. at Lotus of Jax told me when I asked him. That also includes everything not just the block.

Just let me know. I will be stripping everything down soon. I will post a spreadsheet of all items soon as I remove them.

If I were to sell the whole engine and trans, what do you all feel is a fair price?
