Popular Post red vtec
I have a business specialising in the provenance of vehicles. We research a vehicle to show its provenance and then package this in a luxury format. Book and case are custom made to each particular vehicle and bespoke to the clients request. All of it is hand made by us. We have documented the Ex Sir Paul McCartney DB5 and also the 007 GoldenEye DB5. Both sold at Bonham's Auctions for record amounts. We deal with all segments of the market from buses through to Le Mans Bentleys etc... We also hand make Motoring binders to keep vehicle paperwork in, all can be customised with the vehicle details. The picture shows the Sir Paul McCartney DB5 book and case both trimmed the in same hide as the vehicle. 3 Quote Amateurs built the Ark Professionals built the Titanic "I haven't ridden in cars pulled by cows before" "Bullocks, Mr.Belcher" "No, I haven't, honestly"

jep
That is a stunning looking 675LT @mikey k. Silver, black and red work really well together. There is nothing that drives quite like a McLaren and I bet the LT is a notch above. Justin
mikey k
Very true, never driven anything that comes close to the 675LT, even Pista doesn't come close. I bought the Exige to keep the miles off it and true get some of its character. It's a compliment Lotus and the Exige that is does sorry for the OT ramble

Gold FFM Popular Post johnpwalsh Posted February 10, 2021 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted February 10, 2021 I am founder of LotusRescue ( along with loads of assistance from Wendy, the wife ) who over the past 7 years ( part time as I still have a full time job ) have rescued and moved on a total of 27 Lotus, stalled, abandoned and forgotten car's in various stages of decay and most have all gone on to new homes with fellow Lotus enthusiast who will complete the task of bringing them back to life. We assisted in the sale of a nice car off to Australia, another went to Germany and carried out the restoration of a clients car which when completed went to Paris. We managed to find a buyer for the second S1 which came in from the states and that one as we speak is about to have the body lifted off for a full restoration and conversion to right hand drive. We are still assisting source parts etc for that car, so I guess you could say we are a bit continental. One car we sourced for a LotusRescue client had been sitting in a garden for the best part of 9 years, we managed to conclude the deal for the client, collect her from outside London and delivered to N E Scotland. I thought that was one stunning car in Ice Blue Metallic with Pageant Blue leather interior. I would have loved to be able to have kept that car. Obviously we have become good friends with everyone we have met and helped sourced cars for, and kept in touch with everyone. So, almost exactly four years later I have a conversation with that particular owner and he just made the comment, when are you coming to collect your car, it had been a standing joke about ownership over of the car. So a deal was struck and days later MY car was in the workshop waiting her turn for a full on restoration. Currently we have two stores full of car's, all Lotus of course. Always looking for new projects on behalf of clients. A replacement covered transporter trailer has been purchased to move the cars about giving full protection. A new logo ( final colors still to be tweaked ) has been designed which will be printed off and added to the sides of the trailer. Our tow motor, VW Amarok known as the tug, was purchased to save wrecking anymore good cars due to the high miles we were doing and give a bit more grunt for towing. It's now a year since we took over the new workshop, and that's working out great as I can work indoors with a nice space heater blowing while it's -5 outside. The photograph was taken while the 4 Tone ramp was being installed and prior to the walls etc being painted. How did I ever manage working on the drive before with nothing more than a pop up Gazeebo when it rained or during the winter. Presently Covid 19 means we are about 7 months behind schedule on some projects which like all businesses we have little or no control over. This also means I am stuck overseas for up to 4 months at a time. But the wonders of the internet help keep things moving, if not the cars. Now looking to set up a website for the venture. Must be cheap/free with a decent host who wont overload it with bloody adverts. So, anyone who can offer free assistance to help set up a website. Great, more than welcome. 2
