checking timing marks?

Recommended Posts

hi there, i dont get to go up to my garage that often, but something i need to do next time i go is to make sure the timing is right on my s3 (due to a transporter unloading incident) and, despite having a manual tensioner, i want to be sure its not jumped any teeth.
Can I see the timing marks form inside the cab through the window? or is it going to be impossible to check when i get there?       wanted to ask so as i can go prepared.

ta,

Mark

They're on the back of the camshaft sprockets, easily visible once you lift the engine cover.
