Very well done to everyone involved.

I don't think enough credit can ever be passed for moments like that.

Glad I had the old 'shades' on. They were indeed hideing a couple of damp eyes.

Glyn did the same, but as a backup plan he had his legs on show as a distraction.

I had hayfever, which looked like tears but was not.

As i'm made of stone me.

Yeah - I had one of those troublesome eyelashes that makes you blink a lot, blow your nose, and try to casually wipe your eyes as if you were scratching your nose... :crybaby: :crybaby: :)

I've just seen this, first thing in the morning, sitting in the office with tears in my eyes, if anyone asks, I've got something in my eyes (both of them)!

I missed the moment because I was returning from the track, so big thanks Mat & Troy for capturing it. Did anyone catch the sinking to the floor moment?

Don't know about Troy but when he collapsed I felt to continue filming would be a bit ghoulish therefore I switched off. At the time I was genuinely concerned as he looked like he might be having an attack of something. As we all know now he was fine which was a great relief to me!

I have more video including the "Ghandi" walk to the car and a clip of Troy going through some of the work while he peers into the engine bay. These are too big for Youtube and I'm currently trying to get them to Bibs so he can post.

Absolutely awesome!

I've just 'gone' myself!

Si - I'm only sorry I too couldn't be there in person - but I have quite a good excuse (see my forthcoming Weekend post in General Chat)

Like Karl, I look forward to seeing you at SCS :)

Caroline took the video on her camera and like Mat thought it prudent to stop filming at that point. Not only that it took a while for the big man to gain his composure :)

Haha great stuff - just finished catching up with everything.

Another appology for not being there (out of the country) wish I could have been - looks like Supercar Sunday it is then !

I'd love to see 1st hand the finishing touches to the car, last time I saw it pretty much every part was out on a washing line :)

Hats off to everyone who got the car there for the hand over - it looks $1million !

That video shows so well how everyone managed to keep it a secret from Simon right up to the last second, you bunch of sneaky liars, you (but all in a very good cause). I'm still amazed that word did not get out at all. How on earth did you guys at Castle Combe manage it? Brilliant stuff.

er sort of chating in groups, "oh look Big Si coming this way let disperse so we dont have to talk to him"

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Well I've manged to get some more video on youtube. This clip is of Si looking over the engine bay and having some of the work undertaken explained by Troy. Right at the end it also catches Bib's handing over the presentation from Laura.

Enjoy......
