😀 Colour probably not everyone’s taste but it looks amazing  in the flesh, especially with the SR black bits. At least it’s a good base if I do fancy a change 🤣

Will probably look to do something with the exhaust at some point, lucky enough to have the use of an Exige Sport 410 for a couple of weeks and this sounds a bit tame after that! Also fancy getting a full Alcantara steering wheel similar to the Evora 430 as not a fan of the leather on the existing one.

The Exige sounded immense but probably a bit too loud for daily use! I may take a look at 2ubular system but will leave stock for a while, no rush. Had TVR’s in the past and this sounds a little bit tame inside the car, maybe epic outside though!

Not sure about Matt Becker, it’s had a couple of owners. Can’t be that many in this colour, there was a manual for sale a couple of months back which I missed unfortunately. Plan to upgrade to full member here and get the Certificate of Provenance which should confirm how many were made and may lead to some clues.

Welcome to TLF Graham. :welcome:

Took me a couple of looks to work out it was the grey. Almost looks like an off white colour on first glance..

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Yes, here’s another picture when It was a bit sunnier. Personally I think it looks great!

Great looking car and fantastic colour, can see sport racers levelling out and being similar price to early 400s in the near future.

One of the reasons I went for the SR. Fed up of losing a bundle of cash on cars so wanted something that shouldn’t drop too much at least. However whilst the asking prices are quite high there are a few that have sat around for a while not selling.

A few of us on here have used http://royalsteeringwheels.com retrimming wheels - really please with mine, I went for napper leather with red stitching and centre stripe...

Here's the result!

Smart car by the way - great colour!

Wow, that looks so much better. Not a fan of the cheap feeling hard leather on the standard one. Did you thicken the wheel at the same time?

I also fancy replacing the leather around the heater vents on the doors/dash and the door pulls with Alcantara stitched red  or a better quality leather.

I think it is ever so slightly thicker, which might mean it was put on over top of existing leather - I really don’t know to be honest. I’m very pleased with the result, I definitely prefer, the wheel now goes perfectly with the red stitching on dash.

I think it cost me around £146 with postage in the end, I had the wheel sent off while it was in garage for for a once over shortly after getting it
