It's inevitable, you find your favourite B road and in true British road fashion it's more bumpy than a teenagers face.. You catch and scrape the underside of the car...

More often than not, you scrape the rubber protecting the front splitter but, has anyone done real damage? Caught their exhaust or rear splitter?

Other than going at a snails pace, any ingenious ideas to protect the underside of the car?

Upgrade today to remove Google ads and support TLF.

The suspension bottoms out long before the underside touches the road surface. I won't count scraping the splitter, which I do daily (in fact, I can't leave the driveway without scraping), but that is a full ride height.

I hit a pheasant. luckily it only damaged the splitter so easy enough swap. :blush:
