The first international endurance race of the 2013 season, kicked off last weekend at the Dubai Aerodrome, with the Dunlop 24H Dubai.

Cor Euser Racing, competing in the Lotus GT4 and driven by Vic Rice, Shane Lewis, Henk Thijssen and Trevor Knight led their SP3 class through the night, battling hard to stay at the front of the pack. The team deservedly took victory in their SP3 GT4 category, coming 17th overall.

The Motionsport Team also competed well in their Lotus Elise, coming second in the A5 Touring class. They also enjoyed a decent finish and came 30th, out of 80 entrants.

2 teams entered by Lotus On Track Racing Driver Club didn’t fare so well with the highly campaigned Sport 160 S1 Elise belonging to Paul Golding being taken out of the race after a Porsche drove into the back of it and the Duratec S1 Exige succumbing to engine issues.
