With members of The Lotus Forums meeting up with members of the TVR Car Club (South Eastern Region) and associated friends the cars attending included: Lotus Esprit, Elise, Exige, Elan, Evora, Europa and Excel and the TVR’s included excellent examples of the 350, Griffith, Tuscan, Tamora, Cerbera, Chimaera and Sagaris. Other cars in attendance for the event were a Lamborghini Diablo, Audi R8, Aston Martin Virage, Maserati GT, Ferrari 360 and 430 and an M3 CSL making any petrolhead’s dreams come true.
After an hour or so of tyre kicking those wishing to drive to a lunch venue fired up many, many cylinders and with the cars nice and warm headed off to The Woodman in Ide Hill. The pub is around 10 miles from Brands Hatch, the journey there however took in around 100 miles of lovely Kentish and East Sussex roads with everyone enjoying the wonderful views and vistas afforded by a snake of real supercars.
Thanks must go to Richard Davies of the TVR Car Club for his involvement of the event, Brands Hatch for having us and The Woodman at Ide Hill, a terrific lunch venue for any car club.
