I have held off on doing a review, as I have had mixed experiences with other dealers, but I shouldn’t have…From first impressions to ongoing support it has been a 1st class experience with B&C.
The sales experience with Jamie was perfect, he had set aside enough time to patiently answer my many questions and provide a great test drive. He listened to my requirements, advised accordingly and put together a deal which won my business.
The follow-up dealings with Phil and team to get the run in service and a few niggles sorted out were faultless. The only issue is the number of great cars in stock when returning to B&C, things could get very expensive very quickly!
The service team recently carried out some work on my Esprit SE, including repairing a tiny dent on the wing and repainting it. They did an absolutely first rate job and i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for other body work. It now looks like it just came out of the factory..
I have to say the team have done an outstanding job for me again this year. The Goodwood track days are terrific, servicing is always very efficient, well organised by Phil and I find reasonably priced for the quality of work and expertise on offer. My only complaint is Jamie, he’s a bit too good at his job for my liking. Every time I visit B&C I want to buy another car! Jamie is an absolute superstar, a true gent, great to deal with, always straight forward, honest to a fault and a Lotus man to the core.

Heard nothing but positive comments about Bell & Colvill and they have been in business as a Lotus dealer for a very long time. I bought my Evora from them last year and the great service and care has been my experience. It’s very easy to buy a car and then find the warranty and dealer service goes downhill from there. Not so with B&C, great customer aftercare with an enthusiasm to get things right. Very pleased.
I arrived for my test drive and went to reception. I then had to wait for about 30-40 minutes until someone was available to show me the car and go for a drive. When that did happen they weren’t really interested in my questions and the attitude can best be described as ‘take it or leave it’. Not a great experience and not a dealer I’d go back to.
