Since buying my Esprit 2 years ago I have used PNM for all maintenance. The service and quality of the work has been very good. Peter is happy to share his extensive knowledge and gives genuine honest guidance about work that needs doing or indeed that doesn’t need doing.
I have always had the car booked in for a fixed time and it has always been ready on time.
Have used them on several occasions and while some parts have left me waiting 7 months or more, it wasn’t really their fault, as they did not have supplies from the suppliers/producers.
I only buy spares etc, so cannot comment on other than that.
They’ve been nice and talkative and answered my questions, thou their email correspondance may be somewhat slot at times.
They could make some better descriptions on some parts, like for example the head light kit wil stainless steel backing plades, adn it is needed to modify the original houlings, and this is not mentioned.
In general, I am satisfied, and had no problems.
They do take good initiatives on making spares on their own for the Esprit.
I have used PNM to source parts which are generally available. I have to echo others sentiments that the customer service is very poor and punctuated by lengthy and unacceptable delays from my own experience. I sourced a complete set of AVO dampers and was asked if I wanted the dampers painted. I asked for an alternative colour. When delivered, one damper was half sprayed, no undercoat, directly onto the damper with runs and a couple of tins of spray to “finish” the job as they did not have time. The Polybushes were also unfit for purpose and had to be returned and modified to fit correctly. Its not everything but just an example.
I have used PNM on many occasions to supply the parts I require. I have found Peter to be extremely helpful in sharing his vast knowledge of my esprit and always trying to find the best price for the item required. They are innovative with modifications and speedy with deliveries. I carryout all my own maintenance and modifications so have no opinion on any other area.
Length of time for work to be undertaken was excessive, well over 6 months and in some cases up to a year, although payment was required immediately. Also questions over the quality of the work. Prices changed from the quotes on the phone to the amount required on payment. Receipt were incomplete with detail on parts and prices missing making it so difficult to keep record of what had been delivered and also impossible to keep my own records.
