Lotus Racing have put together a short advert which looks to be answering back the detractors who said it couldn’t be done, that they wouldn’t be able to complete the season or even start it with such a late entry into 2010. Remember that 12 short months ago Lotus Racing had 5 staff and an empty factory in Hingham, that was it!
With their inaugural season seeing the team finish ahead of the other new teams and with Richard Branson soon to be wearing a dress on an AirAsia flight (all proceeds are going to charity, very noble of them) the team must be brimming with confidence and looking forward to 2011. The advert ends with what is perhaps a shot at the current Lotus Racing/Group Lotus legal proceedings over the use of the name ‘Team Lotus’ next year.
