Bishop Stortford’s Hilton & Moss, a name synonymous with classic & modern Lotus cars, is taking the wheel in 2024 with their very own Emira GT4 race car.
Get ready for a blast from the past with a modern twist. Their livery is a stunning tribute to the legendary green and yellow of the 1967 Lotus 49 (chassis R3), featuring the Emira’s Verdant Green for a fresh take.
Behind the wheel will be William Garrett, a driver with a lifelong love for sports cars, though new to the world of competitive motorsport. He’ll be leading the charge initially, with the possibility of guest drivers joining the team in the future.
This is a historic moment for Hilton & Moss, marking their first venture into owning a race car. Get a glimpse of the Emira GT4 in action at the upcoming GRRC Spring Sprint on April 1st. They’ll also be putting the car through its paces at the Prescott Hill Climb on April 6th, followed by thrilling demonstration runs for LDC members on the 7th.
Hilton & Moss is hosting a private track day at the prestigious Goodwood Motor Circuit on August 7th, where you can witness the Emira GT4 in all its glory. While race participation later in 2024 is a possibility, a full-fledged racing schedule is likely on the horizon for 2025.
