With a record attendance of around 300 Lotus cars the sun really did shine for us at TLF International Lotus Day. With the event now in its third year, guests to this free event were greeted with a phenomenal display of Lotus cars ranging from 3 Lotus VI's to the very latest Evora 400's and Exige Sport 350's and nearly every model in between! Driven: Lotus 3-Eleven

You know you're in for a nerve-wracking day when you're due to drive a sub-900kg, sub-3 second to 60mph car on a race track and it's raining, a lot! TLF were invited down to Goodwood Motor Circuit by Bell & Colvill who have just taken delivery of the very first Lotus 3-Eleven to experience the quickest Lotus ever built on a full-on race track. Lotus have doubled their presence at the 86th International Motor Show at Palexpo, Geneva with a stand twice the size of 2015 and 2 new cars unveiled by CEO Jean-Marc Gales, bringing the total number of cars on display to 4. New for 2016 is the Evora 410, a more focussed Evora featuring a small power hike but big weight savings, with over 70kgs removed increasing the power to weight ratio considerably to 309hp/tonnes. When the Evora was launched in 2009 it received a raft of 'Car of the Year' awards from the like of Autocar and Evo. Lotus have since updated the car with 130 improvements for the MY2012 model which saw the car mature into a better equipped, more refined version. Now, with the Evora 400, over 70% of components are changed completely or redesigned, this is much more than just a new front and rear bumper! [VID][PICS] Lotus unveil all new 3-Eleven at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Lotus have unveiled the all new 3-Eleven at the 2015 Festival of Speed. With a dry weight of sub 900kgs (race version) and sub 3.0 0-60 time, the car generates 450bhp and 332lb ft or torque from its supercharged V6 with a top speed of 174mph for the race version and 180mph for the road version (due to the taller gearing) and over 500bhp/tonne. Built from an in-house composite weighing 40% less than GRP, there will be 311 cars built, in either road going version or non-SVA track only edition. [PICS][VIDEO]Lotus F1 Team lap Brands Hatch in the E23

Lotus F1 Team took advantage of their one of the two annually permitted 'promotional events' to lap the iconic Brands Hatch circuit in Kent yesterday (Mon 27th April) with this year's F1 car, the E23. Romain Grosjean, Pastor Maldonado and Jolyon Palmer all took to the circuit and were joined by Classic Team Lotus running a thunderous Type 72 as driven by Ronnie Peterson historically. The promotional event must see the car on track for less than 100km and on demonstration tyres to comply with F1's strict testing regulations.
