Mark Fullalove added a pair of victories to his Silverstone win in a combined Lotus Cup UK and Europe race that counted for points in the UK Championship. The former BTCC racer was tracked by Steve Williams in both races but was able to maintain a safe gap on both occasions. Jon Walker took second on the road from the back of the grid in the later race, but was docked a place as he overtook Williams under yellow flags. His eventual third place followed up a podium for Rob Fenn in race one. Ken Savage took the Production class wins, with the Rasse brothers taking the Exige Cup and Evora class honours both times. David Fenn followed up his son’s earlier Open class win.

In the Elise Trophy, Ken Savage, Luigi Mazza and Craig Denman were in the thick of the action again. Mazza took race one honours after a close battle with Savage after Denman retired and Steve Quick spun. Andy Dolan was pleased enough to be on the podium but the day was to get much better for him.

Phil Stratton-Lake led the reversed top-ten race two until Savage and Mazza breezed past into the lead. A safety car intervention bunched the field and Mazza barely lasted the restart, pulling off at Druids. This left Denman, who had also passed Stratton-Lake, to attack Savage and the pair collided at Stirlings, handing the lead to Dolan. The Scotsman duly led the remaining lap to win his first race in the series. Stratton-Lake took second, with Denman third but a post-race penalty gave the place to Dan Plant.
