The first in a new series of Lotus-motorsport based programmes airs on Motors TV from this week. Expanding on the popular transmissions featuring LoTRDC races, the new format incorporates additional content in a new magazine show. With a new presenter and much more variation in the content, the show promises a fresher and more entertaining programme than seen previously.
Racing from the Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup Europe is joined by the new for 2011 Lotus Cup UK Championship, with one hour long races including pitstops, and highlights from the opening rounds of this series and the Elise Trophy at Snetterton are scheduled to be shown. The programmes will also feature Lotus racing around the world, starting with Lotus Cup USA this time. In addition to the racing action, there will also be insights into Lotus motorsport activities, starting with a rather special racing-related piece.
The first programme broadcasts on Friday 15 April at 20:00 in the UK (19.30 in France), with repeat showings continuing into the following week.
If that’s not enough action, then the Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup UK will be supporting the FIA Formula Two Championship this weekend at the new Silverstone Arena circuit, as used in the British Grand Prix. Large grids are expected for both series, providing plenty of action to fill the extended track length!
