LoTRDC have confirmed that Motors TV will continue to provide coverage of their races in 2011, which have given them a strong profile in European motorsport over the last four years.  The format has been tweaked to include coverage of the new Lotus Cup UK Championship in addition to the Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup Europe and will also add features on Lotus in Motorsport, an area that has experienced huge growth in the past 12 months, providing a real buzz within the sport.

With the additional content the one-hour shows, filmed and produced once again by Race TV, will be presented in a magazine format, broadening their appeal.  The programmes will be broadcast throughout Europe, including the UK, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands – countries playing host to LoTRDC races in 2011.

Frederic Viger, Motors TV’s Head of Programming and Acquisitions said: “Everyone at Motors TV is delighted that Lotus Racing will be featured in our programming again in 2011. The fact that it is one of the few race series in the world supported by Lotus Cars highlights its prestige and, in addition to the on-track action, we’re planning some behind-the-scenes features and footage from the US scene this year, which will certainly add to the popularity of the shows amongst our viewers.”

Paul Golding of LoTRDC said: “Motors TV coverage has been a hit with the drivers and supporters of the series and with Lotus’ drive towards a greater presence in motorsport, the new format is the perfect opportunity to gain an insight into the marque’s activites”
