February’s pic of the month is with the compliments of one of our guest authors, Matt DeLange of Jackson Heights, NYC. Matt wrote this excellent article about his interview with Wes Frederiks, discussing how Wes helped Lotus regain it’s footing in the USA in 1983 with the Lotus Esprit ‘Investors Special Edition’, of which this is an example.
This is Matt’s car – at least it was until he ordered a Burnt Orange MY2012 Evora S and needed to sell it to make room for the impending arrival. Matt also has an Esprit S1 in Colorado Orange which is currently undergoing a full restoration, including interior retrim in his families tartan.
