Somehow we managed to get to November without a shot of an Exige V6, so this image of a menacing Motorsport Black example puts that right. The car itself belongs to Belgian TLF member Jokke Vlo, who’s tastefully modified V6 will be familiar to many here. The shot was taken and kindly shared with us by Mathias Decru during a trackaddix.be day on the Circuit Des Ecuyers, near Reims in France.
According to Mathias: “The V6 sounds amazing on track, by far one of the best sounds of the bunch and then we aren’t even talking about the great looks and speed! A really impressive trackday car and one of my favorites to shoot.“
He has certainly captured the raw speed and kinetic energy of an Exige V6 hard on the brakes, being driven like its maker intended. This Lotus design is surely one for the ages though, unusually sleek for a modern shape with perfect proportions and taut, dynamic lines. It looks every inch the road and track predator.
