This month, with a very tenuous link to autumnal colours, it’s the return of the original pocket rocket – the evergreen Lotus Exige. Modified cars don’t often feature in PoTM but I thought this particular example was very nicely done, in fact it looks the business, the additions enhancing the S2 Exige’s already pugnacious bantam-weight demeanor. More to the point, the shot perfectly captures the diminutive car’s pent-up aggression, it looks ready to take on anything twice its size (and price). The attention to detail on Evan’s Exige is very impressive and it must be a rare sight Down Under. In bright pumpkin orange it’s just the thing for giving a V8 Ute a Halloween scare, complete with banshee supercharger scream!
