Again the Scots (who seem to own nearly every Evora built so far) have the picture of the month in the bag. Perhaps those cold winter nights lead to more time to plan on getting a good snap when the opportunity arises or perhaps it’s just that they’ve got some stunning scenery.

I bought the Evora from Graeme Robertson at MMC in Edinburgh. He was a joy to deal with, in fact he was part of the reason I went to Lotus for my new ‘toy’ as he had previously sold me an Exige. I had tried various other cars in the run up to the Evora (which I never really considered orginally) including the Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, and Focus RS, all of which I ruled out for various reasons. I still remember when Graeme winced when I picked Orange, as he’d never delivered one, and was worried it wouldn’t suit.. I think I made the right choice!
Picked the car up in July 2010 and covered 3500 miles and one trackday so far. The above picture was taking during my first proper ‘hoon’ across the Cairn O’ Mount road in Aberdeenshire. Its a 1480″ mountain pass, on which the round 15m cairn stands on at the top. A well known road up our way!
I’m sure Justin won’t thank me for this list but his previous cars to date are: Exige @ 20, TVR @ 21, Gallardo @ 22, Range Rover Sport @ 23 – Wow! How I’d love to be his insurance broker!
