It turns out that October’s winner of a Type 72 shot from a very dramatic angle, isn’t even a photo at all! Yes, fooled me too. The creator of this image, Pedro Duarte from Portugal, must have spent many a long night at his computer to pull off such a life-like rendering of the iconic 72. The attention to detail is incredible.

Pedro: I am a Maya and Vray artist that studied Product Design in college and then decided to follow a more artistic path towards Digitally crated pictures or CGI. I’ve been a Digital Artist for 7 or 8 years now.

So here you have the first CGI winner of PoTM. Something tells me it won’t be the last.
