Lotus unveiled the work of new VP of Creative Design and Marketing Swizz Beats at a celeb stuffed bash in New York City. From Lotus:
“BIG NEWS FROM THE BIG APPLE. A creative colour collaboration: the special edition chrome Evora GTE with design input from media entrepreneur Swizz Beatz was officially unveiled last night by Lotus CEO Dany Bahar to the great and the good of New York City. Perhaps Swizz’ wife Alicia Keys was right when she sang “…concrete jungle where dreams are made of…” – will our dreams come true there? We’ll see.”
This Evora GTE, finished in a chrome ruby red paint features many of the styling cues seen on the Mansory Evora shown at Geneva in March this year which were carried over to the GTE. The unique paintwork sets the car off nicely and other GTE features include the rear brake cooling ducts forward of the rear wheels and slightly modified rear wing and also front aperture cover however the interior looks unique. The enlarged intake vents behind the B pillar are from the GTE. A generous dose of carbon fibre finishes the car with a CF roof, sill detailing and other carbon accessories.
Pricing and availability are not yet available but with GTE’s costing in excess of £120,000 this car won’t be cheap! What do you think, let us know in the comments below or on our forums?
