It’s official, a group of Evora’s is a ‘plethora’. OK, so you have you use your imagination regarding the pronunciation but it works and it’s better than ‘some Evorii’ or similar!
Allan Matheson, one of our ‘LEGS‘ (Lotus Enthusiasts Group, Scotland) regional co-ordinators is also a volunteer marshal on the rescue unit at Scotland’s favourite racetrack, Knockhill which is 35 miles north west of Edinburgh. This long time dedication to the circuit (30+ years) gave him the contacts and opportunity to arrange a photoshoot on the track and even half price entry on raceday for our members. The cherry on the cake then was not only did everyone get to enjoy a good days motorsport, but the 14 attending Evora’s were even given the opportunity to complete a few ‘hot laps’ behind a pace car over lunchtime.
Well done to Al for organising the day, thanks to Knockhill for having our Scottish contingent and thanks also to Brandon from Murray Motor Company in Edinburgh who rounded up a few more cars and attended himself in an Evora IPS.
